The noble name Montero is very common in Spain and America. It had different locations in Lerana, from the place Saro and judicial place of Villacarriedo (Santander); in Lantueno, from the Committe of Santiurde and judicial place of Reinosa, in the same province; in the village of Berbinaza, in the judicial place of Tafalla (Navarra); in the Olba, judicial place of Mora de Rubielos (Teruel); in the city of Reina (Toledo); in the Granada, with linage in Chile, and in the villages of Palma del Río, judicial place of Posadas (Córdoba), and from Oliva de Mérida (Badajoz).
